The dirty talk/build up/smut!! oouuuf it was amazing, i really liked the 'hate fuck' trope and i think the MMC was super sexy in how he treated FMC.
i know that criticism seems petty, but it can make or break a story for me hehe The writing/descriptions about the characters both outside and inside the steamy scenes - it really allowed me to picture it on my own, not having obnoxious buzzwords to describe literally any action the characters are doing (i'm looking at you ' creamy'). Here are some specific aspects i really enjoyed: Though there were some road bumps, I think it was the epitome of the good rom-com/steaminess I have been looking for :)
Sorry for the question, but I just wanted to make sure before I buy it rather than regretting later on. (No hate to those who like it though, we all have preferences.) I once read a book where the mc shared the mc and I was completely blindsided, and I don't think it's my cup of tea. I think it had a great plot that was integral to the actual smut (note: i tried to read erotica but without any plot, i could not enjoy it thoroughly) and the characters had enjoyable chemistry. Because if it does, I'm not the biggest fan of that. I just finished reading Twisted Hate by Ana Huang after someone recommended it here and o m g, that was such an amazing read and the smut scenes were everything I could ask for!!
